GODAN is excited to officially endorse the international Open Data Charter! The Open Data Charter aligns with GODAN’s global efforts to make agricultural and nutritionally relevant data available, accessible, and usable for unrestricted use worldwide.

This is an important stepping stone towards building  public and private institutional and high-level policy support for open data through advocacy, research and communications, and encourage collaboration and cooperation to solve long-standing global problems. GODAN fully stands behind the Open Data Charter’s Principles:

  1. Open by Default
  2. Timely and Comprehensive
  3. Accessible and Usable
  4. Comparable and Interoperable
  5. For Improved Governance and Citizen Engagement
  6. For Inclusive Development and Innovation

We look forward to future developments and collaborations.
